The Law Offices of Hale & Hale

A longtime Lowcounty resident, Rebecca H. Hale graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1983 and the USC School of Journalism in 1980. She worked for the SC School Boards Association as a staff attorney/director of policy until moving here in 1985 and worked here for a local law firm until 1991 when she joined her late husband's predecessor firm, which then became Hale & Hale, P.A.

She has five children James (Brittney), Matt, Emily (Brett), Rachel, and Noah, a bonus son Ricky, and a granddaughter. Greenville, South Carolina, was her hometown until she left there to attend college. She enjoys attending USC football games and is a member of The Garnet Society. In 2021 Rebecca was honored at a pregame ceremony as Legendary Fan of the Game. She is also a member of Bluffton Rotary Club and the Paul Harris Society. When she is not cheering on the Gamecocks, she enjoys spending time with her family and furbabies.

A Lowcounty native, Taylor M. Clary graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Political Science cum laude in 2012 and from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2015. She moved back to Bluffton in 2016 and worked for local law firms in Bluffton and Hilton Head before joining Hale & Hale, P.A. in 2024.

Outside of the office, Taylor enjoys spending her free time with her two daughters, Aibileen and Ellington, and her fur baby, Leo.

Robin Smith joined Hale & Hale, P.A. in 1993. She currently lives in Grays, South Carolina with her husband, Sherwood. Robin grew up in Hampton, South Carolina. She loves fishing and boating and loves to spend her indispensable free time playing with her six grandchildren. Robin attended Orangeburg Tech for Secretarial Science. Robin provides assistance to our clients with real estate transactions.

Meredith Lazarski joined Hale & Hale, P.A. in 2002 and has lived in the Lowcountry since 1992. She became the first South Carolina Certified Paralegal from Beaufort County in 2016. Meredith is a B.A. graduate from the University of South Carolina and holds two advanced paralegal certifications from the National Association for Legal Assistants. She is also a member of the National Association for Legal Assistants, National Association for Legal Support Professionals, and Legal Staff Professionals of South Carolina and received Legal Staff Professionals of South Carolina's Award of Excellence for the year 2017-2018. Meredith provides assistance to our clients with real estate transactions and probate administration.

Marianne Biedermann joined Hale & Hale, P.A. in 2021. Marianne and her husband moved to the Lowcountry from Switzerland, falling in love with the beaches and palm trees. In her free time, Marianne loves to explore new places and do all kinds of projects with her family. She and her family are also avid Universal Studios parkgoers. Marianne provides assistance to our clients with preclosing preparation of real estate transactions and is the force that keeps the office schedule running smoothly and efficiently.
